Rwanda Healthcare Federation (RHF) is a private health sector organization. It was founded during the first General Assembly of the founding members on 16th February 2014 in Kigali, Rwanda, and was officially launched on 29 March 2014.
RHF hopes to play a leading role in organizing the private health sector working in Rwanda, dialoguing with the Government of Rwanda (GoR) and promoting Public Private Partnerships (PPPs) to maximize the contribution of the private sector in achieving high quality affordable and accessible healthcare for all Rwandans. Through innovative and effective solutions, RHF aims at contributing to address the issues faced by the Rwanda healthcare sector.
During the first two years of its inception, RHF focused at establishing an operational secretariat, which was facilitated with the financial support of a key partner - the HANSHEP Group. Among its main achievements, an assessment of the private health sector services was completed and a three years strategic plan 2015-2018 was developed.
